President's Letter - Winter 2026

Dear New Hampshire Highways Readers:

Happy New Year!

First things first, thank you. Serving as president this past year has truly been a privilege. The energy, support, and enthusiasm you all brought made 2025 one for the books, and I’m grateful to have been part of such a great group.

Now, let’s look ahead. Be sure to mark your calendars for April 9, our Annual Meeting.

Registration opens in February, and it’s always a great opportunity to reconnect, meet new faces, and officially pass the gavel as we welcome Brett Merrill of Hews Company as our incoming president, along with the officers and directors for 2026.

And because a good save-the-date list never hurts:

• May 16 – Paintball Battle

• July 30 – Summer Social

• July 31 – Equipment Showcase Open

• November 14 – Fall Social

Looking back on 2025, one of the real highlights was the work of the Workforce Development Committee. Under the leadership of Larry Major of Pike Industries, the committee accomplished some excellent things this year. Be sure to check out the Workforce Development page on our website if you want the full story.

And of course, the events. You turned out in record numbers for the Fall Social, and the Holiday Social was another big success. It’s always great to see firsthand that when our members show up and get involved, the entire industry benefits.

Finally, a warm welcome to our new members — you’ve joined a fantastic group, and we’re glad to have you along for the ride.
