SCHOLARSHIPS
William H. Weaver Memorial Scholarship
Each year, NHGRA sponsors the William Weaver Memorial Scholarship, awarded to University of New Hampshire students pursuing post secondary education in engineering and leading to a career in a highway related industry.
This scholarship was created in 1968, in memory of William Weaver, of Weaver Brothers Construction Company,
who died in a construction accident in 1967. The scholarship fund is administered by a Board of Trustees, on behalf
of the New Hampshire Good Roads Association.
Applications can be obtained from the Dean's Office in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of New Hampshire. The application process begins in January each year.
We are pleased to announce the Trustees awarded $20,000 in March 2022 to the following students enrolled
in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of New Hampshire: Gabriel Guertin,
Kelsey Page, Jacob Stephens, Aidan Cadogan and Nicholas Wong.
Roger F. Provost Memorial Scholarship and NHGRA Construction Scholarship
We also offer the Roger F. Provost Scholarship and the New Hampshire Good Roads Association Construction Scholarship.
