President's Letter - Spring 2026

Dear New Hampshire Highways Readers:

Being part of New Hampshire Good Roads is a privilege, and I’m honored to step into the role of president. I’ve always admired what this organization stands for. We’re a group of people who care about the work we do, but also about each other. The conversations, the support, and the friendships are a big part of what makes this association so strong.

I also want to recognize the significant progress we’ve made in workforce development over the past four years. Larry Major and the committee have dedicated countless hours meeting with students, attending career fairs, and participating in events such as Construction Career Days and Bring Back the Trades. Their sustained efforts are making a real impact and helping us connect with the next generation our industry depends on.

As we look ahead, here are a few key events to keep on your radar:

• This year’s Paintball Battle is happening on May 16 at OSG Paintball in Barnstead — sign up now! Contact the NHGRA office at events@nhgoodroads.org to register your players.

• The Summer Social and Equipment Showcase Open returns to Canterbury Woods and new this year, Pembroke Pines Country Club on July 30 and 31. I encourage you to invite some of your coworkers and reach out to others in the industry who have never attended before.

• And you won’t want to miss the Fall Social on November 14 at Church Landing in Meredith. Saddle up for some fun at our Kentucky Derby Casino Night — where Southern charm meets Vegas-style excitement. We look forward to seeing you all there!

These events are excellent opportunities to connect, strengthen relationships, and enjoy time together outside the day-to-day work. I hope to see many of you there.

I’m looking forward to working with all of you and doing my part to help keep this organization moving in a positive direction. Wishing you a safe, productive, and successful year ahead.
